Sleigh Rides
The season for sleigh rides starts mid-December and goes to early April, weather and snow cover permitting.
Advance reservations are recommended for both individual and group rides during the busy Christmas period and Valentine's Day weekend. We will also be running extended hours during the Christmas holidays and on Valentine’s Day.
Our tentative opening date for the winter season is December 13 2024. This is weather permitting as we require enough snow and ice to build our trail.

Private Two Seater Cutter
Our romantic two-seater cutter is available for those magical moments and memories in Lake Louise. The perfect experience for engagements, weddings and anniversaries. Available mid-December through early April (weather and snow cover permitting).

Our traditionally styled sleighs feature cozy upholstered seats and blankets to keep you warm and comfortable. The Brewster Family will show you the sights—Western Style!
Both day and evening excursions are equally charming. A horse-drawn sleigh ride is a perfect way to enjoy this winter wonderland during family outings, wedding parties, conventions, and holidays.

Additional Trip Information
Before departing, all guests must sign an indemnity waiver. All waivers must be witnessed by a Brewster Mountain Pack Trains employee and require your complete mailing address and signature. For guests under 18, a parent and/or guardian will also be required to sign the waiver.
Evening sleigh rides provide a quiet, starlit sky experience also backed by the lights of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Please note that there are no evening rides after the final 4:00 p.m. ride on Sundays (except during holidays).
All rides depart from the lakefront at the Chateau Lake Louise in Lake Louise, Alberta (just 45 minutes west of the Banff townsite). Free Parking is available at our Stables.
